March 17-19, 2006, Jorgen Sandman held a PAT Seminar in Bryne (Stavanger-NOR) organized by the Norwegian Billiard Federation. The NBF has just built their very first regional training center for Pool and Snooker, "Jaeren Biljardsenter", with 8 Pool tables and 2 Snooker tables. NBF hopes to have a number of these training centers throughout the whole of Norway in the future, which are to be pure sports centers where training and education will be focused upon.

Even though Jaeren Biljardsenter is not yet officially opened, NBF used the opportunity to host its first PAT Seminar in this facility. No doubt the NBF has found a great way to promote Billiards Sports in this idea, and hopefully it will serve all clubs and players in Norway in a great fashion, so that further such centers will be built in the future.

Did you know that...
...the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) was founded on the 25th of January 1992 in Yverdon-les-Baines (SUI)? Representatives of close to 100 countries throughout the world participated in the meeting.
